Physician, of New York, N.Y.; b. Johannes Walter Wilhelm Hoving in Finland of Swedish parents. Hoving immigrated to the U.S. in 1903 and returned to Sweden in the 1930s. Collection consists of correspondence, minutes, and committee reports, of and relating to Swedish American and other organizations in which Hoving was active, particularly in the New York area; together with personal correspondence, financial records, and other papers. Organizations represented include All American National Committee, America's Making, Inc., New York, N.Y.
